Teaming Up: Headbands of Hope, North Carolina Children’s Hospital and PSI CRO

PSI CRO, Durham, NC, 29 October 2018  PSI CRO is partnering with Headbands of Hope to donate more than 200 headbands to children at North Carolina Children’s Hospital, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals.

“We are very excited about this donation with Headbands of Hope,” says Sabine Kroher-Debuschewitz, PSI Director of Operations in North Carolina. “Headbands of Hope has made an incredible impact in the lives of so many children battling cancer, and their focus is close to our hearts at PSI. As a team, we’re thankful to have the opportunity to give back to the communities that we’re dedicated to.”

Headbands of Hope has donated headbands to every children’s hospital in America and in 13 different countries. Together, PSI and Headbands of Hope are hosting the donation event at North Carolina Children’s Hospital on October 30th. In addition to this event, the two organizations will coordinate donations in both San Francisco and Philadelphia at later dates. These locations are chosen based off of proximity to additional PSI offices in the US.

PSI Opens New Office in Bangalore, India

PSI CRO, Zug, Switzerland, 1 August 2018 – PSI CRO has announced opening offices in Bangalore, India at, 24, Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore, 5600.

PSI CRO Partners with Gift of Life Marrow Registry at ASCO 2018

Companies Raise Awareness of Blood Cancer, Recruit ASCO Attendees to Marrow Registry

Zug, Switzerland, 21 May 2018 PSI CRO and Gift of Life Marrow Registry are teaming up to recruit ASCO attendees to join the bone marrow registry this year during the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago. 

The ASCO Annual Meeting hosts more than 32,000 oncology professionals in Chicago during a weeklong conference. PSI CRO attends ASCO yearly and is excited to partner with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry in 2018 to bring awareness to blood cancer and the life-saving results of the marrow registry.

“Gift of Life was introduced to us by one of our staff members that has an incredible passion for the organization,” said PSI Vice President of Business Development Terry Turner. “After hearing his story, PSI became committed to working with an organization so closely tied not only to our purpose but to our staff.”

PSI CRO Opens New California Office

Zug, Switzerland, 1 May 2018 PSI CRO has opened doors at a new office in the Bay Area. The new property’s location is at 401 California Drive, Burlingame, CA. This way, PSI remains close to Bay Area biotech and pharmaceutical companies while meeting their growth and business needs by expanding into larger, spacious premises. 

Recently, PSI hosted a housewarming event at the new location. “Our presence in the Bay Area continues to be strong. We are rapidly expanding in our offices in Durham and King of Prussia (Philadelphia). We were excited to open our new Burlingame office to the biotech community and invite many of our loyal and new customers to celebrate together the opening of our new home while discussing clinical research challenges,” says Head of North America Operations and California-based team member Tibor Kovacs.

In 2017, PSI CRO announced additional office openings globally, including the purchase of a new premises in Research Triangle Park, Durham NC. PSI CRO Purchases New Office Space In RTP, Plans to Grow in 2018

PSI CRO, Durham, NC, 14 December 2017 – PSI CRO has announced the purchase of a new office space in Research Triangle Park, located at 10 Laboratory Drive.

“Our continuous growth in RTP is a testament to the strength of our company combined with the remarkable talent pool in this area,” says Tibor Kovacs, Head of North American Operations at PSI. “RTP is a clinical research and biotechnology hub, and we’re happy to continue our expansion here in the Triangle. Our staff count has doubled in size, year-to-date, and we’re strategically positioned in RTP to establish a full-service office contributing to clinical advancements globally.”

Earlier in 2017, PSI announced the openings of offices in Sydney, Seoul, Taipei, and Madrid. Additionally, the company moved their San Francisco office to a larger space in the Greater SFO area to accommodate staff growth there, too.

PSI CRO, Zug, Switzerland, 7 November 2017 – PSI CRO announces opening an office in Spain at Paseo de la Castellana 141, Cuzco IV, 28046 Madrid.

“PSI has been successfully running clinical trials in Spain for a number of years,” says George Tanaseanu, one of PSI’s Country Managers leading the team that launched the office in Madrid. “We are excited to have established an office that would be home to our ever-growing operational team.” PSI’s expansion into Spain is driven by many clinical trial requests from biotech and pharma sponsors, particularly in the areas of oncology and oncohematology, where Spanish clinical trial sites demonstrate consistent and reliable data delivery.

The office in Madrid is PSI’s 33rd office. The company has been growing organically since 1995 through hiring and training across Europe, North America, South America, South Africa, India and Asia Pacific. 

The Madrid office marks the fourth office opening in 2017, following offices in Sydney, Seoul, and Taipei.
