PSI CRO, 2 January 2024 – PSI continues to expand its capabilities worldwide with the move to a new office in São Paulo for the PSI Brazil team. The Swiss-based full-service clinical research organization (CRO) announced that it will be transitioning its local operational team to a coworking space to allow a more dynamic environment to help support regional sites in meeting on-time enrollment and delivery.
The new office is situated at Alameda Santos 1165, São Paulo, Estado de São Paulo, 01419-002, in a vibrant cultural district with convenient access by metro. The space is located on the ninth floor of the WeWork Paulista 2 business center, providing a welcoming hub for team members, sites, and sponsors while still guaranteeing secure confidentiality and data protection with restricted PSI-exclusive areas, including private offices and dedicated meeting spaces. PSI has had operational teams in the region since 2017, and has grown to a staff of 50, with 500% growth in the last 5 years.
Brazil continues to be an attractive location to run clinical trials for many sponsors due to its diverse population, efficient patient recruitment, and high-quality data. Clinical research in the country will only continue to grow due to the Brazilian Clinical Research Law 14.874/24 approved in May 2024, which streamlined the review process for potential trials and added more predictability and clarity for startup timelines and post-trial access.
