PSI CRO, 15 October 2024 – PSI CRO today announced its expansion in South Korea with the move to 25th Floor, Lotte World Tower, 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul (Sincheon-dong), Republic of Korea. The renowned 123-story Lotte World Tower is the tallest building in South Korea and the sixth-tallest in the world. The Swiss-based global full-service contract research organization (CRO) has moved its base of operations from its previous location in Seoul’s Glass Tower, which PSI occupied since 2017.
PSI is internationally recognized for delivering pivotal Phase 2 and 3 trials in the most challenging therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology-oncology, gastrointestinal diseases, radiopharmaceutical trials, and more, through its unique approach to site support, machine-learning-powered clinical trial planning tools, and industry-lowest staff turnover rate. On-time delivery of global pivotal trials is at the core of PSI’s operational strengths.
The new Seoul location better positions PSI to support sponsors from the heart of South Korea’s rapidly growing life sciences community. Seoul was named the world’s top city in terms of number of clinical trials in 2012, and Korea has regularly ranked amongst the top 10 countries that have conducted clinical trials since 2010 based on analysis by the Korea National Enterprise for Clinical Trials (KoNECT).i
“PSI’s core strength is the quality of our relationships with our sponsors, sites, vendors, and more than 3,000 employees worldwide, who all share an unwavering commitment to patient enrollment,” said Barrie Koh, Head of Asia-Pacific at PSI. “As South Korea continues to advance some of today’s most promising therapeutic options, we wanted a location that reflects our focus on strategic collaboration and partnerships. We invite innovators from the local biotech community to visit us at Lotte World Tower and join us in working toward a future where every patient counts.”
PSI’s further expansion and continued growth in South Korea follows recent office openings or expansions across the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand, where PSI operates with dedicated full-time office-based staff.
“PSI’s organic growth all across the Asia-Pacific region has been strategic and well-paced,” continued Koh. “I’m excited about the move to the Lotte Tower in Seoul, giving our local team ever-improving working conditions on their journey to delivering clinical trials on time and on budget with the Swiss precision that PSI is well known for.”
