An Opportunity to Grow  

Working as a CRA at PSI, Elena’s job duties are not limited to just performing MVs and reports. She also takes part in several processes within a clinical trial giving her a comprehensive understanding of its life cycle, and expertise in its various areas. She truly believes that this experience is critical to becoming a well-rounded clinical research professional.  

She notes that at PSI, no two days are the same. She can work remotely – working with sites’ follow-ups, attending project team calls, drafting reports, and tending to emergencies to meet timelines; or can travel to meet investigators and site members to discuss their organization, their interest in trials we are going to propose, and gain valuable feedback to improve study protocols. This flexibility gives her the possibility to gain experience in several therapeutic areas!

Elena began her career in the Oncology Unit and being a part of the development of a study drug that can prolong or improve patients’ quality of life is a source of great pride for her.
